Economy Minister Carlos Cuerpo stated that this decision aligns with the government’s stance against participating in or supporting a war deemed unilateral and in violation of international law. US President Donald Trump has expressed concerns over potential economic repercussions due to Spain’s actions, threatening to cut trade ties with Madrid after access to military bases was denied for operations linked to the conflict.
