“New Trump Photo from Epstein Files Sparks Controversy”

Must read

A recent disclosure from the Justice Department unveiled another image showing Donald Trump socializing with women in bikinis, among other revelations in the partial release of Jeffrey Epstein files.

The documents, heavily redacted, were made public as part of the investigation into Epstein, a well-known figure in American criminal history. The files mainly feature pictures of Epstein’s properties in New York and Little St James, his private island, taken during official searches.

The collection also includes a selection of private photos from Epstein’s archives, some of which are explicit, while others showcase prominent individuals and celebrities. However, being included in these files does not imply any wrongdoing or knowledge of Epstein’s illegal activities.

Many of the images seem to have been taken during a trip to Asia that Epstein undertook with Bill Clinton. Noteworthy personalities such as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, Michael Jackson, Kevin Spacey, Mick Jagger, Peter Mandelson, and Sir Richard Branson are also featured in the visuals.

In the latest release, Donald Trump is only seen in one photo. The picture captures a sideboard in Epstein’s New York residence, adorned with framed photos, including one where Trump is seen alongside his wife Melania and Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s associate, who is currently incarcerated for sex trafficking. Another photo reveals a younger Trump enjoying the company of four elegantly dressed women, two of whom are in bikinis.

Recently, a previously unseen image of Trump mingling with young women emerged from a set of documents provided to the House Judiciary Committee by the Epstein estate. Following the photo’s exposure, various White House officials, such as press secretary Karoline Leavitt and senior aide Steven Cheung, posted on social media, drawing attention to the images that also featured President Clinton.

Trump has consistently tried to shift focus away from his connections to Epstein by implicating Clinton and other Democrats. As he departed the White House for a speaking engagement in North Carolina, he avoided discussing the matter on Friday evening.

Clinton’s spokesperson, Angel Ureña, clarified that the Epstein investigation does not center on Bill Clinton. Ureña differentiated between individuals who distanced themselves from Epstein upon learning of his crimes and those who maintained relationships afterwards, asserting that Clinton belongs to the former group. Notably, Clinton has not faced any allegations of wrongdoing from Epstein’s known victims.

Even before the Department of Justice released files containing images of Clinton in connection with Jeffrey Epstein, Republicans had been focusing on the former president’s ties to the wealthy financier. Subpoenas for depositions were issued to both Bill and Hillary Clinton by Republicans on the House Oversight Committee earlier this year, with demands for in-person testimonies if the written statements they provided were deemed insufficient. Rep. James Comer, the committee’s Republican chair, threatened contempt of Congress proceedings if the Clintons failed to comply.

While several former presidents have voluntarily testified before Congress, none have been compelled to do so.
