“Elon Musk’s Social Media Platform X Faces Outage”

Must read

Elon Musk’s social networking platform X, previously known as Twitter, faced a temporary outage on Wednesday, leading to disruptions for numerous users. The problems began around 2:03 am as indicated by Downdetector, with over 25,500 complaints swiftly following.

While some users experienced no issues accessing the platform, others encountered problems such as feed failures, app error messages, and difficulties utilizing key features. The situation seemed to have been resolved by 3:34 am, but the platform experienced another crash around 6 am.

During this subsequent outage, Downdetector received more than 11,600 reports in a short span, with users highlighting difficulties in loading feeds and refreshing timelines on both the X app and desktop. The disruptions were eventually rectified under an hour, with reports dwindling by 7 am.

Despite the return to normal operation, X has not issued an official statement explaining the cause of the intermittent service interruptions. It is not uncommon for major platforms to face technical glitches that can impact a large number of users simultaneously.
