“Samsung Unveils Galaxy A57 and A37: Premium Features, Affordable Prices”

Must read

Samsung is introducing the Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37 during an unconventional period, sparking thoughts on what could have been if the launch timing was different. These phones, particularly the Galaxy A57, are hailed as one of Samsung’s most comprehensive A-series offerings, delivering a premium experience at more affordable prices akin to a Galaxy S26 alternative. The A57 boasts a glass and metal build reminiscent of the Galaxy S26 Plus, featuring a compact yet premium feel with a glossy backplate. Equipped with a Super AMOLED display, a 5,000mAh battery, and a versatile camera setup, the A57 offers flagship-level features at a more accessible price point.

On the other hand, the Galaxy A37, while sharing similarities with the A57, swaps the metal frame for plastic and makes slight adjustments in specifications. Both devices run on One UI 8.5 software based on Android 16, offering a seamless user experience akin to Samsung’s S26 lineup. Noteworthy features include call screening, AI assistants like Gemini, Perplexity, and Bixby, and lock screen ads, with a promise of 6-year OS/security updates.

Despite the quality-of-life enhancements in the A57 and A37 compared to their predecessors, the pricing has escalated due to market conditions. The Galaxy A57 starts at Rs 56,999, while the Galaxy A37 starts at Rs 41,999, making them fall into the midrange price segment rather than flagship pricing from a year ago. As smartphone prices trend upwards across brands, potential buyers must consider whether to invest now or await a price stabilization in the future.
