The company’s website, images, marketing materials, sales, customer outreach, and support are all AI-driven.

Specifically, Matthew utilized ChatGPT, Claude, and Grok for vibe coding the company website, while Midjourney and Runway generated ad creatives for marketing. Customer communication was powered by ElevenLabs, and custom AI agents coordinated operations. Additionally, a chatbot managed customer queries efficiently.

Initially a solo endeavor, Medvi, founded in September 2024 with $20,000 in funding, saw remarkable growth in 2025 with $401 million in revenue and 250,000 customers served. The company is projected to reach approximately $1.8 billion in revenue in 2026. OpenAI’s president commended Medvi’s success, emphasizing the opportunities AI presents for entrepreneurs.

While Medvi’s achievements have garnered attention, concerns have been raised regarding the company’s approach. Operating as a telehealth entity, Medvi offers prescription drugs at reduced prices through online consultations, potentially bypassing regulatory norms. Focusing on GLP-1 drugs like Ozempic, known for weight loss benefits, Medvi has attracted a significant customer base seeking affordable alternatives to traditional clinics.

Critics, including venture capitalist Sheel Mohnot, have raised suspicions about Medvi’s marketing tactics, hinting at potential legal violations. Mohnot highlighted the company’s use of AI-generated content and received a warning letter from regulators in February, suggesting questionable practices in Medvi’s operations.

Despite its remarkable growth driven by AI, Medvi’s success story is shadowed by ethical and regulatory concerns, reflecting the complex intersection between innovation and compliance in the digital healthcare landscape.
