A video depicting a man lifting and forcefully slamming a 10-year-old boy into a cement drain in Lucknow has gained significant attention on social media. The entire incident was captured on CCTV footage, showing the boy being picked up by a man in a white T-shirt and thrown onto the drain, causing him to lose consciousness.

The incident occurred in Lucknow’s Wazirganj police station area on February 20 but has recently surfaced. The boy had gone to a local mosque to offer prayers after breaking his fast and was later playing cricket with other children outside the mosque, as shown in the viral video.

At that moment, a 22-year-old local resident known as Fahad alias Prince arrived at the scene. He grabbed the boy by the neck and legs, lifted him overhead, and slammed him onto the cemented lane, leading the child to faint immediately. The man then walked away casually.

Following the assault, the accused’s uncle Rashid and female family members assisted in taking the injured child home, initially attributing his fainting to a fall while playing. Subsequently, the boy was taken to a hospital where doctors recommended consultation with a neurosurgeon and later examined him at a private hospital in Indiranagar.

Witnesses who were playing with the boy revealed that he was intentionally lifted and thrown to the ground. The CCTV footage clearly captures the man’s actions as he lifts the child, holding him by the neck and legs before forcefully slamming him onto the drain.

The family lodged a written complaint at the Wazirganj police station, resulting in the registration of a case based on their account.
