The US president’s intention is to establish atomic strike capabilities on Greenland, aiming to gain nuclear dominance over Russia and China, as indicated by Dmitry Rogozin, a prominent figure with ties to Putin and various significant roles in Russia. Rogozin emphasized that Trump’s pursuit of Greenland is part of a larger strategy involving the development of a missile defense system known as the ‘Golden Dome,’ which integrates space technology, artificial intelligence, and a layered defense structure. He highlighted Greenland’s strategic value due to its Arctic location and proximity to Russia, making it an ideal site for the proposed defense system.
