“Vivo Teases India Launch of T5 Pro with 9,020mAh Battery & 90W Fast Charging”

Must read

Vivo is preparing for the introduction of the Vivo T5 Pro in the Indian market, although an official launch date has not been confirmed yet. The company has teased the device by creating a dedicated microsite on Flipkart, where key specifications and design elements have been revealed. This upcoming smartphone will succeed the Vivo T4 Pro, which was released last August. The Vivo T5 Pro will be available in two color options and will be sold through Flipkart.

The design of the Vivo T5 Pro includes a dual-camera setup aligned vertically within a rectangular module with rounded edges. The cameras are accompanied by an LED flash and an additional circular element. On the left side of the device, you will find the power button and volume controls, while the right side remains uncluttered. The bottom of the Vivo T5 Pro features a speaker grille, a USB Type-C port, and a SIM tray.

According to the microsite, the Vivo T5 Pro will come equipped with a substantial 9,020mAh battery, a significant improvement over the 6,500mAh battery of the Vivo T4 Pro. It is expected to support 90W fast charging, maintaining the same charging speed despite the larger battery capacity.

This information aligns with a previous leak by tipster Yogesh Brar. Additionally, the smartphone is rumored to sport a 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, an upgrade from the Vivo T4 Pro’s full-HD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The Vivo T5 Pro 5G is rumored to be powered by Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset and is expected to run on Android 16-based OriginOS 6. The phone may come with an IP68+ and IP69+ rating for dust and water resistance.

Positioned in the mid-range category, the base variant of the Vivo T5 Pro is anticipated to have 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, with an expected price around Rs 29,999. In comparison, the predecessor, Vivo T4 Pro, featured a 6.77-inch display and was powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset. It boasted a triple rear camera setup led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor and was supported by a 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging capability.
