Leanne Quigley, the winner of the reality show “Traitors,” recently shared her harrowing experience of witnessing her newborn son fight for his life. The 30-year-old TV personality, who served in the armed forces, gave birth to twin boys prematurely with her partner Sophie. One of the babies, Harley, faced life-threatening challenges shortly after their birth.
Reflecting on the traumatic events, Leanne described how her sons, Hudson and Harley, were born at just 26 weeks, still enclosed in their amniotic sacs with fused eyelids. The premature infants required immediate care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), as Harley’s health deteriorated rapidly.
Leanne recounted the distressing moments when Harley’s condition worsened, recalling how medical staff struggled to stabilize him. She vividly remembered the fears of losing her child as she witnessed the desperate attempts to save him.
Despite the initial struggles, both Hudson and Harley defied the odds and survived, growing into healthy young boys. However, the emotional trauma of those early days continues to weigh heavily on Leanne.
