A tragic incident unfolded as a four-year-old boy passed away after being discovered unconscious in a swimming pool and receiving CPR from family members. The heartbreaking event occurred on the evening of January 9 in Bobs Farm, located in the Hunter Region of New South Wales, Australia.

After the family alerted emergency services and the boy was extracted from the pool, swift efforts were made to save his life. Despite the prompt response from police and ambulance teams, the child, who remains unidentified, succumbed to the ordeal shortly after the Christmas period.

According to a spokesperson from the New South Wales Police, the boy was found unresponsive around 7:30 pm on January 9. Family members initiated CPR before paramedics arrived to take over. Despite being transported to John Hunter Hospital in critical condition, the boy tragically did not survive.

Authorities from the Port Stephens/Hunter Police District launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident, with plans to compile a report for the coroner’s review.

This tragic event follows another devastating incident where an eight-year-old boy lost his life after being discovered unconscious in a separate swimming pool near Shepparton, Australia. Despite receiving immediate medical attention, the child, whose identity has not been disclosed, could not recover from the injuries sustained during the pool incident.
