“Mar-a-Lago Members Plot to Expel TV Star”

Must read

Members of the exclusive Mar-a-Lago golf club associated with former President Donald Trump are reportedly joining forces to expel one of their fellow members from the prestigious Palm Beach establishment. This decision comes after the said member made an appearance in the Netflix series, “Members Only: Palm Beach.”

The show showcases the lives of prominent Florida socialites, representing both ‘new’ and ‘old’ wealth circles. These individuals, who are sometimes allies and sometimes rivals, navigate the social scene by attending lavish gatherings, charity events, and vying for influence in Palm Beach. Among the cast of the Netflix reality series is Rosalyn Yellin, a member of Mar-a-Lago.

Although Mar-a-Lago is prominently mentioned in the series as a key hub for networking and status in Palm Beach, filming inside the club was restricted. Consequently, other club members are reportedly planning to expel Rosalyn following her participation in the show.

Sources revealed to Page Six that certain Mar-a-Lago members are contemplating signing a collective letter to demand the revocation of Rosalyn’s membership. The discontent among members stems from their disdain for the show, which they deem as “cheesy.” One Palm Beach resident criticized the cast, claiming they lack genuine recognition in the area.

Furthermore, another member disparaged the appearance of the cast, labeling the show as the antithesis of Palm Beach’s essence. Another source highlighted that the show’s portrayal was overly assertive and failed to accurately represent the local community, emphasizing that none of the cast members reside in Palm Beach.

Rosalyn frequently features Mar-a-Lago on her social media platforms, sharing images from the club, including moments with former President Trump. She is also scheduled to host a charitable brunch at the club soon.

In a statement to Page Six, Rosalyn expressed disappointment over the misrepresentation of the show, emphasizing her longstanding commitment to philanthropy and charitable endeavors at Mar-a-Lago. The Netflix series, released on December 29, also showcases other personalities such as Hilary Musser, Taja Abitbol, Ro-mina Ustayev, and Maria Cozamanis. Maria, one of the show’s participants, recently addressed her emotional moments on the show, attributing them to personal struggles she was facing at the time.
