Must read

Hyperoptic has recently announced a mid-contract price increase for its broadband services, with customers set to see a £4 monthly rise starting from April 2026, up from the previous £3 increase. This change will apply to both new and existing customers across all Hyperoptic broadband plans. Despite previous statements against mid-contract price hikes, the company joins several other major telecom providers in implementing larger increases in recent months.

In contrast, Sky Mobile will raise its customers’ bills by £1.50 per month from February 14, 2026, marking the first in-contract price adjustment by Sky Mobile in over seven years. O2 has also disclosed a £2.50 monthly increase for most mobile and SIM-only contract customers starting in April 2026, up from the initially planned £1.80 rise.

For Three mobile customers with data plans of 4GB or less, a £1.80 per month increase will take effect in April 2026, up by 80p from the current £1 rise. Those on plans ranging from 4GB to 100GB will experience a £1.90 monthly increase, while customers with over 100GB will face a £2.30 rise. Additionally, Three broadband subscribers will see a £3.50 monthly hike from April 2026.

Vodafone mobile customers who sign up from November 12 will incur a £2.50 monthly increase, or £1.50 for Basics SIM plans. Vodafone broadband users can expect a £3.50 rise in their monthly bills. Existing Vodafone and Three customers will continue to pay their agreed-upon rates, but those out of contract may be overpaying.
