“Darts Drama: Cullen Calls Out Suljovic for Unfair Play”

Must read

Joe Cullen recently took to social media to criticize Mensur Suljovic, accusing the experienced darts player of unfair play. Cullen faced a disappointing loss to Suljovic in a tense second-round match at the World Darts Championship.

Despite initially trailing, Suljovic made a remarkable comeback to defeat Cullen 3-1 at Alexandra Palace. Throughout the game, Cullen showed frustration by checking his watch and quietly urging Suljovic to speed up his throws.

Known for his deliberate pace, Suljovic’s extended celebrations and slow gameplay seemed to aggravate Cullen, who confronted him after the match. Cullen expressed his displeasure on social media, labeling Suljovic’s tactics as cheating and not true to the spirit of darts.

In response to Cullen’s outburst, Suljovic appeared puzzled and stated that he had never apologized to Cullen for his play style. Suljovic defended his approach, emphasizing that each player has their own rhythm and style on the darts stage.

Looking ahead, Suljovic may face defending world champion Luke Littler in the next round, while Littler is set to compete against David Davies, an NHS area manager. The PDC World Darts Championship commences on December 11, with fans able to watch all matches live exclusively on Sky’s Essential TV and Sky Sports bundle.
