“Iran Warns of Retaliation Against US Tech Giants in West Asia”

Must read

Iran has escalated its tensions with the United States in the West Asia region by issuing a new warning on Friday. The warning specifically targeted the Stargate mega American-linked AI data center in Abu Dhabi, a project involving major tech giants. This warning came in response to President Donald Trump’s threat to attack Iran’s power plants and followed a previous Iranian attack on global technology firms in the Gulf.

In a video, Iranian Lieutenant Colonel Ebrahim Zolfaghari emphasized Iran’s surveillance capabilities, even highlighting the exact location of the proposed 5-gigawatt artificial intelligence campus. The project is a collaboration between US-based companies such as Nvidia, OpenAI, Cisco, Oracle, and Japan’s SoftBank.

Lt Colonel Zolfaghari stated in the video that if the USA proceeds with threats against Iran’s power plants, retaliatory actions will be taken promptly. This includes targeting all power plants, energy infrastructure, and information and communication technology of American-affiliated companies in the region.

The footage showcased a specific location of the Stargate UAE site, underscoring Iran’s surveillance prowess. The video also displayed satellite images of the data center, an exhibition model of the facility, and key figures associated with the project.

Amid the ongoing conflict in West Asia, President Trump recently threatened to destroy Iran’s bridges and power plants, urging swift action from the New Regime leadership. The Iranian military had previously listed 18 US companies, including Apple, Google, Meta, and Nvidia, as potential targets in response to potential US strikes on Iranian facilities.

Iran has reportedly already targeted an Oracle data center in Dubai and an Amazon facility in Bahrain. The situation continues to escalate as both sides engage in threats and warnings, heightening tensions in the region.
