Louise Thompson shared that her four-year-old son, Leo, has been hospitalized. The 35-year-old former Made In Chelsea star, sister of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! winner Sam Thompson, had a challenging birth with Leo in 2021, facing life-threatening complications. Recently, she disclosed that Leo was admitted to the hospital due to bleeding tonsils, accompanying the update with a photo of him in the ward. Despite the situation, she reassured her followers that Leo was responding well to treatment and hoped it was just a temporary issue.
Expressing gratitude for the support received, Louise praised the care provided by the medical staff, referring to them as the “angels of our universe.” She also appreciated the supportive messages from her followers, acknowledging their practical and resourceful nature in dealing with life’s challenges.
Following Leo’s health scare, Louise and her partner, Ryan Libbey, expressed their desire to expand their family after feeling prepared for it post Leo’s difficult birth. In a Substack post, she shared a heartwarming picture of Ryan and Leo, expressing her hopes for a new addition to their family in the future.
Additionally, Louise opened up about her postnatal health struggles, including a post-natal haemorrhage and developing Asherman’s Syndrome. In 2024, she underwent surgery to have a stoma bag fitted due to complications from ulcerative colitis, sharing her experience openly on social media.
Looking ahead, Louise expressed optimism for the future and the possibility of family expansion in the coming year. Despite the challenges she has faced, she remains positive and hopeful for what lies ahead.
