KSI launched a fierce social media onslaught following Andrew Tate’s loss to Chase DeMoor in the main event of Misfits Mania on Saturday night. The two have been in conflict since October when Tate took over as Misfits Boxing’s CEO, replacing KSI.
The popular YouTuber was extremely upset about the change, especially since he had co-founded the organization with manager Mams Taylor. Before the fight began, the 31-year-old couldn’t resist praising Anthony Joshua’s victory over Jake Paul on Twitter, where the British boxer won after six rounds.
KSI has a longstanding feud with Paul, dating back to their early boxing encounters involving their siblings. He then tweeted, “Now I just need an Arsenal win and Andrew Tate to get knocked out, and then this will be a fantastic weekend.”
Arsenal indeed won 1-0 against Everton on Merseyside. “This is the best weekend I’ve had this year omg,” KSI later tweeted after Tate’s defeat.
Adding insult to injury, KSI posted a photo of both Paul and Tate in vulnerable moments after their fights, captioned with, “Christmas came early,” along with a crying emoji.
Despite Tate’s experience in combat sports like MMA, kickboxing, K1, and Muay Thai, he had not competed professionally in boxing for five years and never in a boxing match before.
The 39-year-old started well in the fight but seemed to struggle with his stamina as it progressed. DeMoor took advantage, landing a strong right hand on Tate, shifting the tide of the match.
Post-fight, Tate admitted, “I’m gonna have to go back, watch the fight, make a decision but Chase deserves his win.” He added, “I’m really happy for him, genuinely. Better to try and lose than to not try at all.”
Following his defeat, Tate shared several posts on social media platform X, including a message saying, “Most men have never felt the sting of defeat because most men have never even tried.”
